How to choose a handlebar for a bike?

The handlebars are the primary control lever for the entire bike, allowing you to make turns as you ride.

How to choose a steering wheel?

When you drive, then, in addition to pedaling, you also need to turn the steering wheel. A handlebar is a fairly long-lived part of a bicycle. And some do not change it throughout the «life» of a two-wheeled vehicle. Therefore, when assembling your ideal bike, choose the handlebars carefully. First of all, decide whether you are going to race on the tracks, gripping the streamlined road handlebar, or still in the mountains, grabbing the MTB handlebar, or you generally tend to hold the BMX handlebar while jumping.

After you have decided on the type of steering wheel, you need to carefully choose its shape so that during a long ride you do not have discomfort in your hands. You also need to combine what you want with material capabilities and, in the end, decide on your preferences — a harder steel version or a lighter aluminum one.

Bicycle handlebars differ in diameter: 22.2, 25.4, 31.8, 26 mm, as well as in length and bending angle.
