Choosing a bike for a child

All parents want their kids to grow up strong and healthy. From an early age, the child is taught outdoor games, the principles of healthy eating are taught. However, nothing strengthens the body like cycling. Children love it so much that they disappear on the street for hours, exploring new areas and getting to know the world around them. Even a stepper trainer may not be as fun as a bicycle. In order for the bike to bring joy to the child, it is important to know how to choose the right one. When choosing a bike, remember that the younger your child, the easier the bike he needs. Children's bicycles should only be purchased with an aluminum frame. Then riding will not cause any difficulties for your child. You should not buy bicycles «for growth». Each age has its own transport, which is made taking into account the needs and physiology of the child.

Tricycles are produced for children under 3 years old. On them, the baby feels comfortable, and the parents are not worried whether the child will be able to keep balance. There are also bicycles in this age category with two main and two additional wheels. Some models for girls differ in colors, as well as the presence of a basket on the steering wheel. Bicycles for kids 3 to 5 years old are already larger than previous ones. Whether or not an extra pair of wheels should be used while driving is up to parents to decide. However, if your child is confident in riding on two wheels, do not deprive him of that pleasure. Models for girls in this category are different: they are lower frame fit. From 6 to 8 year olds, kids' bikes have a ton of adult bike components. In such bicycles, you can already change speeds and gears. Bicycles for children from 8 to 12 years old are a more serious means of transport. At this age, children are mobile and inquisitive, so their bicycles must be especially strong so that even those children who have collapsible dumbbells at home cannot “repair” their transport. Of course, a sturdier bike will have a higher cost, but remember that the meaner usually pays twice.

And a new bike will cost much more. All children want a bicycle. Parents can make sure that the ride brings only joy to the child. The main thing is to choose a high-quality and suitable transport for your child.
